I know this has already been said, but this remix really needs more ads. It needs an absurd amount of them. Conceptually, I think it’s pretty neat. A website with nothing but ads is a nice, ironic joke. It just seems to me that this remix really needs to overwhelm the viewer with ads. I realize getting some of the flash ads requires quite a bit of hoop jumping, so maybe an alternative way to getting the same effect would be to have the ads you do have fill the entire space as completely as possible. As it stands now there’s too much negative space (not counting the macaroni man).

I like this site. Sometimes I think the ultimate goal of the internet is to cram crappy ads down your throat and this site emphasizes this. I do agree with Matt that it might need a few more to fill up some space. I think a way around having to steal the flash for it is to use Grab to capture a picture of the ad and use it that way. It might not work the same as the original but I think the point will still come across.

The idea behind this is great – the commercialism of the internet is sometimes becomes the major part of the content.

Besides (again) echoing Brett and Matt, I would also like to see this page get unmanageably large – already it scrolls down quite a bit, but if you were to make it taller and extremely wide as well, I think that would add to the effect. Also, it’s lacking the most annoying of ads – pop ups! Of course, that takes some fancy coding, but using maybe something like the script I used for my linear would do it. Also, needs some male enhancement ads.

And you know what could make this *even* better? MORE ANIMATED GIFS.

The ads need to be clickable. I was ready for a Stihl, but alas, there was no link. I’m guessing this is a remix of the internets in general and not just one site.

Boy, you guys are making my job easy.

    INCLUDE LOTS OF ADS.

If you are going to make a page about annoying ads, make it annoying. More, more, more!

For some reason I was expecting, “It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time” on Remix #2. What about including pop-under/popup ads?

I too thought there would be peanut butter jelly of some sort when I looked at the preview.
